Just wanted to let you know that I bought the house, but of course so far it has been useless........ I spent a couple of hours running flax back and forth from the farmhouse and odemia to get the money and I spent 10,000 oboloi on nothing essentially. To carry that much money you need 4 other players (hector, meleager, timon, aethon) and about 80+ sacks that can be purcahsed in the pnyx. or threee other companions and 100+ sacks....... Good Luck wasting your time like I did......

To keep stuff in LKH you need to put it in your dresser. The desk might work too. Unique items (Like the kesh staff) stay if you leave them on the table, but the rest disapears. I bet magpie did it. I'm going to go smash up his room

Speaking of kesh... Are those bottles on that ruffian holding the key (at the abandoned farm house) Kesh? And what is an unguent? And when I bought that ridiculously expensive metal breast plate, it said I was over armed or something.

I think the guy ruffian with the key carries kesh. To find out for certain, double-click it. If it says a sense of wrongness keeps you from drinking it, it's kesh.
Unguent regenerates some health, and theoretically cures poison, though I personally have had no success with the latter function.
You can only equip so much stuff! If you want to wear it, take something else off.

The desk, dresser, chests, the 2 kitchen crates, the 2 crates near the tunnels, and I don't know about this but... I think all containers that you didn't put there will work (so I don't think you could bring in 20 coffers and have the coffers stay there) -
unguent does cure poison, it just takes around 20 doses to do so.

Yeah, it's random. You should grab any purple potions you find, they cure poison garunteed.
Also, what exactly is so bad about "staining your soal"? Does it really have any effect? What?

I think that unguents cure poison only when you have almost full health. That's what has happened with me(actually Hector

The Bad thing about staining your soul is that every body is mad at you, and people will attack you. I usually die, which in turn crashes my computer.
