Other, less fortunate boards

  • Do you think we should start an outreach program to the other, less privledged ASW web boards?

I was thinking yesterday, what will I do when I get (And if :) ) to 15 karma? Stop writing chrons? Of course not. I suspose I could start posting them as Obsidian, as cache plans to do with Overmind and theScribe, (and I may still do to an extent) but maybe something more noble would be in order.

So, after I hit 15 karma, can I choose to donate any chron-karma to a poor deprived EVN boarder of my choice?

I gather we've got a 'exclusive snob' reputation on some of the boards, maybe this would do something to improve relations with them.

    Just a thought...

I'd say that's their problem. We're always glad to see new members, as long as they behave. And tell me, how many other boards take the time to welcome new posters on a regular basis? As with most such things, any claims of snobbishness reflect more on the the person making them than on us.

  • But what do you think of the idea itself?

No, karma isn't like money. And bribing for friendship won't actually improve relations, it could just secure their bad opinion of us.
