New Chronicles 12/10
Our chronicle this week was a little late, but we do have one. Our chronicle is "The Call of Destiny" by Mr. Somebody. In this story, a man goes in search of a legendary sword after adopting a homeless child. It's a very good story. You can read it (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/newsdisplay.cgi?action=topics &number;=52&forum;=*Cythera+Chronicles&DaysPrune;=25&article;=000113&startpoint;=")here(/url).
We're still out of chronicles. That's why this week's was late. Send in more!

I think I'll start writing chronicles soon, as they actually seem to be in demand at the moment. I'm not to sure how I'll go, but I'll give it a shot. Now to decide on a story line... Puts on thinking cap
(edit) 100 posts! The first of many more, I hope. (/edit)

As if this will make any difference, we're still out of chronicles. Please submit more!

I had intended on writing some fantasy today, but I never got around to it, and it wasn't Cythera-related either. Are there any general guidelines as to what makes an acceptable "Cythera" chron?

Well, it should at least relate to Cythera in the slightest, it should be (in Apple Works 6, font Monaco, size 13) around three pages in length at the minimum, it should be interesting, mostly corrected and, just in case we get something like Grapper's Return, (God Forbid!), a story. That's my opinon, for a more official approach, see Slayer.

As far as I know, there is no limit to length. Please be reasonable though, and don't submit a short sentence calling it a chronicle.
Just as a sidenote, a chronicle doesn't necessarily restrict you to stories. We've had some poetry in the past, and even gameplay/strategy guides, song lyrics of your own creation, or other literary devices are allowed. So, if you're one to think outside of the box, you are allowed to submit whatever your imagination provides.
Of course, keep it appropriate please. (as in, not something violating webboard guidelines)

While most Cythera chronicles are stories, there is no requirement that they be stories. We have, on occasion had (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/newsdisplay.cgi?action=topics&number;=52&forum;=*Cythera+Chronicles&DaysPrune;=25&article;=000060&startpoint;=")poetry(/url). Most recent chronicles are over a thousand words in length(some are (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/newsdisplay.cgi?action=topics&number;=52&forum;=*Cythera+Chronicles&DaysPrune;=25&article;=000104&startpoint;=")well over(/url)), but again there is no strict requirement. The chronicles should relate, at least peripherally, to Cythera. Most stories we've gotten have very little to do with the actual game, but contain the occasional reference to "oboloi" or a familiar name.
