Cythera Questions

  • Hello,

I just completed Cythera...again, and I had some questions about it.

    1. What do you tell the fountain in the area where you get the strange device?
(Is there anything you can say?)

    2. Does the bandit camp near the swamp serve a purpose in any quests or anything?
(can you go in there without killing everyone?)

    3. Does the abyss above land king hall do anything, or is it for decoration?

    4. Where does Timon's sister go?

    Thanks for the info,

    Brad

  • One more.

Does Urslyph serve a purpose other than to give info?

    thanks again.

    Brad

  • 1. You can say several things, like "coffee", etc. There used to be a list of things you could say somewhere. But the responses you get aren't very useful. It's just a funny thing.

    2. It might trigger something, I believe you can tell someone that you've been investigating the fort. But I'm not sure.

    3. I believe it has something to do with a quest regarding Alaric's sister. I haven't done this quest and I don't want to check the guide either, so I don't know.

    4. Nobody knows. Supposedly, this was going to be investigated further in Cythera 2, which seemingly will never get released. That's extremely sad.

    5. UrSylph only gives info. At least I think so.

  • Thanks for the answers.

Despite advances in graphics, and changes in gaming trends, I still enjoy this game very much. It is a shame that Cythera 2 will never be released, but who knows?...

I believe that it is involved in the kesh quest. I think it involves talking to Sacas about the quest.
No, I think that the only way to get in is to kill all the ruffians.

I think that you are referring to the quest involving Alaric's mother. I think it's just for decoration and serves no real purpose.
