  • Yay, more Sail! ^ ___^ I'm happy that you're working on this novel! I enjoyed this chapter, especially learning more about the K, Tiernan, and Marijka characters. I'm curious about Tiernan and Marijka's backstories, but I'm not sure how much this book will get into them. I wonder, does Marijka get cold, now that she's human? Tiernan doesn't seem to get hot, anyway. Although, is Marijka still a magess? I don't think there's been any evidence of that..

Does the Void exist in this world? Have Tiernan and/or Marijka travelled through the void, or are they just from other lands in this world? What language is Tiernan's books in? Is it weird that he has books in a language that K can't read?

I'm impressed with K's skills in doing basic chores, considering her relatively young age and her broken leg ^ ___^

Thank you for the new chapter! I look forward to Chapter 7 ^_ __^

This book, not so much. Maybe in the sequel?

She likely has healing magic (given that it took 6 weeks for Kako to recover from an injury that can take up to 10 weeks to heal…) but not snow and ice magic. Poor Maika, winter is coming.

All my characters borrowed from TSes fill the same role, but they're more like thematic adaptations, changed to fit the needs of the story. Speaking of which, expect the appearance of another alt-world DM character in chapter 7… with a different hair colour.

    It is a mystery :ninja:

    Covered in chapter 7. ^_^

To be fair, it takes her a long time and she's not very good at all of them. :D

Ooh, I wonder who it will be! I don't know if Selax has hair. Maybe Iannah or Elie?

    Woot! Exciting!

  • I was just re-reading the first five chapters - I don't know how I miss so much stuff! @_@ I guess I just assumed Av & Moonshadow were already married, but now I notice they don't live together - so this is before they get married? I wonder, will they get married in this book? Will K be maiden-of-honour? : __D I can't tell if they're courting now or not.

  • Another excellent chapter, Katerei :) .

Will any of Katerei's people be reappearing or will that be the last we hear of them?

Actually, he does; however, he almost never lowers his hood, so it is generally not visible (being fairly short).

They'll show up again, but not for quite some time.

I always picture him as kind of an ethereal ghost. Now I'm picturing a ghost with a wig.

Ah, so maybe Selax will be in the next chapter, with not-silver hair!

    Lol! That's a silly mental image! : __D
