Sound problems in Cythera

I couldn't get Cythera working in Mac OS 9, so I have tried running it from a Zip disk with System 7.5.
It runs but there is no sound, if I don't mute sound it crashes when I try to use the lever in the first puzzle.
Any idea what the problem is?

I believe that you need Quicktime Musical Instruments to hear Cythera's sounds. Make sure you have that extension.
