OK. So let me get this straight. Magpie is (in the end) Alaric's father. Pelagon is a shapechanger, and Idomeneus made Glaucus wine go bad. Omen doesn't want Alaric to be healed, and screams at you when you pour the formula thingy on the crystal thingy. Cythera is very confusing near the end, is it not?

I think it's confusing all over. From the first meeting with Omen to Magpie's real identity. A great game, if I may say so.

Omen is a servant for the Undine, and his master was destroyed when you "distilled" the crolna.

Undine? What's that? Wow, you can really miss a lot of info when you rely on a cheatbook and hint websites to finish the game. It's fun opening saved games and distilling the crolna over and over again, watching Omen scream at you. Same thing goes with talking to Neoptlemus (though you can do that anytime you want) and killing that stupid hydra. Yucky.

The Undine are legendary, prehistoric, elemental(i think) creatures. You can get more info from UrSylph, if you've found him.

Wow, wow. Idomeneus spoiled the wine?
Was I the only one who didn't know this???

He didn't mean to spoil the wine. Glaucus' wine was spoiled as a result of an old experiment done by Idomeneus.

Now the question is, how do you reverse it (the wine thing)

You can't. I think originally you could, but that was gotten rid of... I remember playing a very early Cythera beta at Macworld Expo (maybe B2) and the guy told me that you had to find who spoiled the wine... then again, it's possible that there was never a way to solve it.

Oh, the things we could do with an editor...imagine: "Ultima Online-now Offline!"

Yeah. I guess the editor is too powerful. But! There might be a way to control it's power. In the heading of the Cythera world data, there could be a way that you can't open the origional world with the editor, like in Squish. Maybe read only, though.
