I searched, and no, I didn't find my answer. Can you buy slingstones anywhere? I bought a sling from the leather guy in Cademia, but I can't find anyone who sells slingstones. I have only ever found a couple on ruffians.

Just wait a day or so. It's good to combine this step with the one below.

Put some of the mixture - each batch will make enough to do this thirty times - into the fixed machine. Put in a sling stone. Then, equip it. It can be used as a very effective ranged weapon, it will fell most creatures with a single hit.
Oh, you can't get the saltpetre as you should be able to becuase fetch dosen't work - but you can get some by hunting around the farm for goat dung, and putting it in a big pile. Cover it in vegitable matter - seaweed will serve - and water occasionaly with stale lant. (That from a wolflizard will work fastest.)
After about ten waterings, it will produce some sal petre, which i think really should also show up in any cave with many animals.
Charcoal can be found in burt out fires. Gind it up as with the sulfur, in a mortar and pestle.
Let us know if you manage it. 
(These instructions are also viable if you have the acute misfortune of being stranded in the dark ages, as was the poor man in the sea cave, who didn't know how to make ammo.

OK, I got the Spear, and the Sword of Heroes. (I like that sword!) I got an odd helm for everyone by casting "Fireball" at all of the ruffians at their huge encampment thing. (not to mention a whole lot of money and equipment) I have a few thousand oboloi, and am in the Tyrants Tomb or something. Thanks for the help.

Ok, forget the whole chest thing. (for me, you can post it for Big Joe) But i'm in the cove south of kosha, Hector and Mealager are no longer confused, and the polyps are dead. I'm standing next to the pattern, but I've tried "use" and "examine" on it and I still can't get the diagram.
Big Joe, when you're on the right of the path that goes up at the Demon site, go up the path, then left, or west, until you reach an archway, and a fountain. Make sure you have either a Bomb, or lots of Mana.

I just killed the Demon under the Pnyx, hoping to find the Strange Device, Gauntlets, ect. On slayers guide, it says to keep going east until you find a magically locked chest. I went east as soon as I killed the Demon, and ran into a wall. I wandered around for a while, hoping to find the chest, but to no avail.
Please help me!! I want to get that stuff!

Could someone please make a plugin for me? I can send you the blueprints via email, but it involves a basement, occasional ruffian attacks, a replenishing stock of chickens and goats, a kitchen, ect. Please tell me if you are feeling up to it. Also, feel free to put in your dream houses on Cythera.

I went down there and was immediatly overwhelmed by ruffians. I ran around leading a wild goose chase for a while, and then finally got killed. I have a quite better player now though.
